It's my birthday today, 4:37 in the morning. Looking back, I can say honestly that age fourteen was the shittiest year of my life. It was a year where mostly when I spoke it was cynical comments about whatever movie we were watching in class. It was a year where I only saw max twice and Cedar and Russell once. It was a year where I can count the number of social outings I went on on my fingers. And they were all in August and September. It's the year I lost my pretty long hair to my own idiocy. And I only saw the Ring once!
But it's also the year I found Gackt and started my novel. I've drawn over six hundred pictures related to my novel and have typed up over 70 pages of it.
In the past year we have purchased fifty one dvd's and I've rearranged my room twice. My artistry skills have improved so much. Looking back just a year ago like even my best work was utter shit.
I'm celebrating my birthday oddly. I woke up at five fifty nine and took a bath. Then it was my goal for the day to procure Gabriel, my obnoxious cat. Then I decided that since it was my birthday I wasn't going to pick my clothes up off the bathroom floor. And then I realized I needed to because my other bra is in the laundry.
Later I'll go eat Sushi at Todai and steal about half the plate of the cookies by sneaking them into my pocket wrapped in a napkin. And mmm.... Unagi. Can't wait.
I guess even still I expect to wake up on my birthday and just feel different. And even still it's a bit dissappointing when I'm still the same. It's not like besides lunch I have much to look forward to. I got my present on Wednesday. And yes I love my new mp3 player a lot but it wasn't what I asked for and it's unlikely my mother will spend much extra on me given the cost of the mp3 player.
And by the way, I liked the movie Aquamarine. It was sweet. I am so sick of disturbing, disgusting, depressing "realist" movies. I miss pleasant movies. Doogal was also very good.
